Babadoh is all about fixing the problem of dough balls sticking together and losing their round, tight shape when you have that annoying struggle to scoop the ball from a proofing tray. Each Babadoh is shaped to individually hug your dough balls as they prove, and is flexible enough to effortlessly release the dough, while keeping its tight shape and all that air created during resting.
They designed Babadoh to fit snugly in the 400 x 300mm tray that many pizza enthusiasts use at home, but they are also sturdy enough to stand on their own or stack up. Each tray has a handy lid to protect your dough from drying out while proofing.
Safe to use in the fridge / freezer
Which means you can conveniently chill and freeze leftover dough balls. They’re already in their Babadoh bed, will keep their plump round shape while freezing, and hold that shape while defrosting. They are also safe to use in the microwave and oven. So you can scramble eggs or bake perfect bread loaves, mini sponges and saucy puddings in the oven.
They have sized Babadohs so you could fit 6 of them into a 400 x 300mm tray. Which is just perfect to pack up some dough balls and toppings, and easily transport to your pizza party in the park. Safe to use in the dishwasher!
Made from food grade silicone
Silicone is far more durable than plastic so you can shun those single use plastics and reuse your Babadoh for many years to come.
Good things about silicone
Babadoh chose silicone over plastic for a number of reasons. not only does it have lots of handy features, but they believe these also make it safer for your health and for our planet.
- Durable, longer lasting than plastic and won’t break, crack or become brittle over time so you can use them for years and years to come.
- Non-stick and flexible, particularly important to gently release those delicate dough balls.
Endures heat and cold better than plastic and won’t melt or warp. - Microwave and oven safe (up to 200°C).
- Odourless and stain-resistant.
- Formed from a single mould of silicone, with no nooks and crannies to harbour harmful bacteria.
